The Magical Mystery Tour is the original Beatles tour in the city. This guided trip, on the colourful psychedelic bus, with entertaining commentaries and songs, is perfect for an introduction of early lives of the Beatles. The tour takes you to their childhood homes and schools as well as some places that inspired some of their famous songs, such as Penny lane and Strawberry Field.

The Cavern Club


The Cavern Club is the legendary cellar venue where the Beatles played nearly 300 times, helping it become one of the most famous live music venues in the world. The club, located in Mathew Street, is still open seven nights a week with a range of live music nights and DJs and remains one of the best venues in Liverpool for live music.

Mathew Street and the Cavern Quarter


The Cavern Quarter, which encircles world famous Mathew Street, is a vibrant city centre area at the focus of Beatle history. The location has transformed into a mecca for Beatles fans over the years, offering plenty of bars and shops dedicated to the Beatles memory.

The area is also home to Liverpool's musical Wall of Fame (which features the name of every band and solo artist to play at the Cavern since it opened in 1957) and a host of statues of the Fab Four, including a cast of John Lennon, several group poses and the wistful figure of Eleanor Rigby on nearby Stanley Street
