Easter at the Merseyside, Liverpool

The kids are off school for half term soon so find below a list of fun events and activities for you and your family to do.

For schools within the Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral and Knowsley councils, the schools will break up for Easter on Thursday, April 2, 2015 and return on Monday, April 20, 2015.


Easter Rummage

Take a rummage in the detained as the Border and Customs Uncovered exhibition is being held at 1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 3pm and 3.30pm. The Easter Bunny has made a visit to the Merseyside Maritime Museum and left some treats for you find, search the ship and look for the contraband!

African Easter crafts

Join a fun family craft session inspired by an African Easter in the Anthony Walker Education Centre at the International Slavery Museum from 1pm-4pm.

Also, running Saturday, April 4 and Easter Sunday


Sleeping Beauty

Regal Entertainments present Sleeping Beauty at St Helens Theatre Royal. The show runs from Friday, April 3 to Sunday, April 12 at 1pm, with an extra show at 5pm on April 4, 5 and 6. Tickets cost £45 for a family of two adults and two children, £12 for adults, £11.50 for concessions and £11 for children. All seats are £10 on April 9 and 10.


Big Art Easter baskets

Head to the Walker Art Gallery and make a decorative basket for your Easter eggs with the kids from 10am to 4pm. Also, running on Saturday, April 4 and Easter Monday.


Easter Trail

Pick up an Easter trail from the Port Sunlight Museum and go off exploring to find the answers. Head back to museum on completion to receive a small Easter gift. The Easter Trail is running from Good Friday to Easter Monday, from 10am to 4pm, £3.50 per child, including admission into museum.
