Lady Lever Art Gallery

 

The Lady Lever Art Gallery was founded by William Hesketh Lever, the first Lord Leverhulme, in Port Sunlight; the picturesque village he built for his soap factory workers. In his lifetime, Lever collected over 20,000 works of art, many of which are on display in the gallery today, including paintings by Turner, Constable, Gainsborough, Reynolds, Millais, Rossetti and Burne-Jones.

  • The gallery is open daily between 10am and 5pm and admission is free.
