Something for everyone awaits at the Merseyside Maritime Museum. Tours of Liverpool’s Old Dock give a real insight into the history of the city (pre-booking required), as does the Piermasters House which is open daily.

International Slavery Museum

 

This captivating museum walks you through the history and legacies of slavery and the Fight for Freedom. Featuring three main galleries centred on Life in West Africa, Enslavement and the Middle Passage and Legacies of Slavery, the museum also hosts exhibitions throughout the year.
