The Beatles

The Beatles were an iconic English rock band who formed in Liverpool in 1957. The Beatles became one of the most successful and acclaimed bands in the history of popular music and Liverpool is said to be at the very heart of their fame. The band consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, all of whom resided in Liverpool at the start of their pop career.

After developing their live set on the emerging Merseybeat scene and through frequent trips to the German city of Hamburg until the mid-1960s, the Beatles conquered The United States which was followed by a sustained touring.
