Snowflake Trail – 1st December 2016 – 3rd January 2017

Liverpool city centre will yet again be transformed into a festive spectacle this December, by the annual Snowflake Trail. You can expect a winter festival of immersive soundscapes, spectacular light shows, interactive window displays and a trail of sculptural installations from some of the region's most exciting visual artists. This is the perfect family day out, so why not follow the festive story and solve the clues for a chance to win incredible prizes.

Winter Arts Market – 3rd December 2016

The largest arts and crafts market is returning for its 8th year, and is setting up in the Liverpool Cathedral. The stunning space will be transformed into an independent shopping experience which will be the perfect place to pick up unique Christmas gifts. Featuring more than 200 of the region’s best artists, designers and makers, the market promises to offer everything you could imagine for sale, ranging from painting and jewellery to homemade jams and unique blended teas. The Cathedral Café will also be open to provide delicious festive treats and hot drinks.

Aladdin - 8th December – 18th December 2016

Embark on a magical journey this December and head down to The Epstein Theatre for the amazing production of Aladdin. The much loved show will take audiences to an exotic land filled with all-powerful genies, wondrous caves, beautiful princesses, and three wishes which might just make a young man’s dreams come true. LHK Productions have developed a reputation for bringing family friendly pantomimes to a whole new generation of theatregoers. If you want to experience dazzling sets, sparkling costumes, brilliant songs and exquisite trade-mark choreography all tied together with that extra added bit of Scouse style, then this is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.

Snow White – 10th December – 24th December 2016

This December, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will take you on an adventure into an enchanted fairy-tale forest, all from the comfort of The Liverpool Empire Theatre. Soap-star Jorgie Porter is starring as the fairest of all the Disney princesses, with radio presenter Leanne Campbell portraying the Wicket Queen, and Liam Mellor as Muddles. Treat the family with this year’s spectacular pantomime, where you will meet all of your favourite characters along the way.
