What's On in Liverpool this August

Schools are out and the holidays have just started!

That means six weeks of free time to fill with family fun. Here's what's on in Liverpool this summer, including several festivals featuring music, food, drink and family activities.

For the first time ever the British Gymnastics Championship Series is coming to Liverpool this summer, with 4 days of non-stop gymnastics action showcasing the skill, expression, energy, team spirit and diversity of spectacular sport. Spectators will enjoy spectacular acrobatics, energetic aerobics, the unique team spirit of TeamGym displays and the beauty of rhythmic gymnastics in all its expressive glory.

The 2015 British Gymnastics Championship Series is definitely an event to get in your diaries.

It doesn’t end here, organised by Liverpool’s leading tour operator Cavern City Tours, the annual International Beatleweek Festival celebrates the music of the most famous pop group the world has ever known.

There is so much to do and see that you don’t need to be a Beatle fan to enjoy the festival. This is truly an international event with bands from over 20 countries and fans from over 40. As well as live gigs, there are exhibitions, memorabilia sales, guest speakers, video shows, sightseeing tours and a convention.

Don’t miss out on the fun, register for the event now!

Now back for the 6th year, Liverpool Pride celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life, held near Liverpool's Stanley Street Gay Quarter on Saturday 1st August 2015.

Announcing details of a revised format of the event for 2015 due to the charity’s financial constraints – taking it back to its first principles around inclusivity and equality with FREE events for the LGBT community. A programme of events will also take place across the city, including market, education and community zones, workshops, guest speakers, acoustic music, a mobile cinema and a family zone and so much more!
