What's On July in Liverpool?

Liverpool is full of fun packed festivals this July! Head out in the sun this summer and explore the city.

Liverpool Biennial 2016 – 9th July – 16th October 2016

Catch the Biennial Festival this year before it’s gone again! Taking place once every two years, the festival displays beautiful newly commissioned contemporary art from around the world for all to see online, in public spaces and in galleries across the city. Organised as a story narrated in several episodes, you will be able to view fictional worlds sited in galleries, museums, pubs, unused spaces, stations, hotels, parking lots, shops and supermarkets. For the first time children will work alongside the Biennial team and artists to develop the ambitious exhibitions, projects and publications specifically for young audiences.

Make sure you’re at the heart of the action to make the most out of this festival! Click here to find out more!

Starting at 11am you can be entertained by pop up performances throughout the day or allow the dance professionals to show you the moves that set dance floors alight. The Mudflappers, the fantastic dance collective, will teach you the Balboa, or do the Charleston with vintage dance duo Antony and Steph. With a range of vintage DJs, workshops and a display of handpicked classic cars there will be a little something for everyone!
