International Guitar Festival of Great Britain – 5th – 27th November 2015

Held at the Floral Pavilion and The Queens Royal Concert Room in Merseyside, this festival displays the versatility and range of the guitar throughout the history of every genre of music. Founded in 1988, this event has been held every November since. Also featuring performances from artists such as The Blues Band, Ricky Ross, and Rick Vito there will be a range of music to interest everyone.

Boxing Who’s Fooling Who – 7th November 2015

This November, Callum Smith and Rocky Fielding will battle it out for the British Super Middleweight Title in one of the most anticipated fights this year at Liverpool’s Echo Arena. Following their epic wins in June, with Fielding beating World rated Texan Brian Vera inside two rounds and Smith championing over former European champion Christopher Rebrasse, no one knows which of the Liverpool born boxers will win. This will be the boxing event of the year that no one is going to want to miss out on!

China National Peking Opera – 13th – 15th November 2015

This year, the China National Peking Opera is performing in Liverpool’s Echo Arena 10 years after their last visit to the UK. They will be performing two different pieces, Warrior Women of Yang and Farewell My Concubine which will be a spectacular combination of dance, mime, music, and drama. Also featuring extravagant costumes, face-painting make-up and stunning stage craft this will surely be an amazing experience for anyone that is lucky enough to witness it.

Snowflake Trail – 19th November 2015 – 3rd January 2016

This event will be just the thing to get everyone in the Holiday spirit! Going through Liverpool City Centre you will have to solve clues with a chance of winning the grand prize! The trail will include street based light and sound instillations, a giant snowflake, magical window displays, and snowflakes designed by local school children on the Church Street Christmas Tree.

Shrek the Musical – 25th November-6th December 2015

Everyone’s favourite ogre is coming to Liverpool Empire Theatre this November for the UK and Ireland Tour of Shrek the Musical! Directed by Nigel Harman, who starred as Lord Farquaad in the west end production and won the 2012 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical, this is going to be a brilliant performance! With tickets starting at £10 you’d be mad not to go!
