Albert Dock Pirate Festival – 12 & 13th September 2015

The amazing Liverpool pirate festival returns to Albert Dock this September.

The festival will feature the jaw-dropping live-action battle in the Dock itself between Pirate Brigantine ZEBU and Pirate Schooner VILMA, two authentic pirate vessels that lock in dramatic duel using real cannons and gunpowder!

This is the climactic moment of a day-long, edge-of-your seat storyline, one of courage, emotion, capture and thrilling escape.

Families are urged to come dressed up in their finest pirate gear, including the adults.

Southport Air Show – 19th & 20th September 2015

The Southport Air Show is the number one family day out in the North West.

Young or old, you are guaranteed to fall in love with the aviation world. Feel the thrill of the Red Arrows as they perform daring and breath-taking aerobatics in the sky. The exhilarating fast jets leave you covering your ears and watching in awe.

 At the start of the day you can see light aircraft land on the beach, something completely unique to Southport.

You can wander around the Air Show Village, testing your agility on climbing frames or experience the closest thing to flying a jet in a simulator.

 

Liverpool Food and Drink festival 2015 - 19th & 20th September

Liverpool welcomes back its amazing food and drink festival this September.

The event is a real celebration of Liverpool’s fantastic restaurants, bars, cafés and regional producers.

Liverpool Food and Drink Festival will bring together the most talented local chefs and producers to serve up a giant feast for the public.

There is always plenty to enjoy for all the family with a wide variety of food and drink of offer, entertainment and even a dedicated children’s zone.
