Liverpool ONE Christmas Launch – 10th November 2016

Liverpool ONE is prepared for Christmas, and wants to celebrate with you! From 4pm on 10th November there will be live music, giveaways, festive performance and more. Party with Radio City throughout the night as you enjoy live pantomime performances from Liverpool’s most loved theatres. The giant Christmas tree is also back, with the lights being turned on in the most magnificent way. As a festive family event, this will be perfect to get you into the Christmas spirit and enjoy quality time together!

Rod Stewart Live – 12th & 18th November 2016

Live at the Echo Arena, Rod Stewart is kicking off his UK tour performing the biggest hits throughout his career. As one of the best-selling artist in the history of recorded music, Rod has sold over 200 million records worldwide. Talking about the tour, he has warned: “fasten your seat belts. I’m pulling out all the stops!”, so you know it’s going to be a once in a life-time chance.

Liverpool Christmas Market – 18th November – 22nd December 2016

Liverpool is once again getting into the festive spirit with its Christmas Market, outside St George’s Hall. The new location has been chosen so that the market can complement the DreamWorks Light Show, brightening the city with a festive glow. This year, the market will feature more than 40 stalls which sell everything from arts & crafts to traditional Christmas goodies, such as gingerbread, roasted chestnuts, and hot mulled wine.

2016 Four Nations Final – 20th November 2016

The Four Nations rugby tournament will finally hit Anfield Stadium on 20th November, after an exciting run through Hull, Huddersfield, Coventry, Workington, and London. The stadium has an astounding capacity of 50,000, ensuring that everyone will be able to fit to watch the final game of the tournament. The Four Nations is one of the biggest international Rugby League tournaments to visit the UK in five years, and will feature host nation England, current World Cup holders Australia, the number 1 ranked team in the world New Zealand, and Scotland – but who will be going head to head in the explosive final?

DreamWorks Lights Lantern Experience – 26th November 2016 – 15th January 2017

As part of Liverpool’s Christmas celebrations, St George Hall will be hosting the DreamWorks Lights Lantern Experience. The display will feature over 100 of your favourite characters, and 25 memorable scenes from much loved DreamWorks feature film productions: Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Madagascar. As a first-time event in the UK, this experience is something that you won’t want to miss!
